Hello there,
I’m from Sydney, Australia, and obviously I'm passionate about writing. I'm in my second last year of school and am absolutely terrified at the prospect of the HSC (the higher school certificate test needed to be done to gain entry into university for those who don't live in NSW and don't know what I'm going on about). But I still have a year until that comes in, so I'm still sane (wonder how long that'll last). Sydney's a pretty cool place to live and grow up in, though I'd really like to travel the world someday and see other cities.
Anyways some of the things I love are movies and reading, and in case anyone hasn’t noticed I love roses too.
I admit I have a darker side, and my friends tell me I'm not happy as often as I should be. I also like pondering about things, and I don’t think there’s ever a moment when I don’t have thoughts running through my head.
I enjoy listening to music because it gives me a glimpse of other people’s perceptions on things, and most of the songs on my ipod are in the rock/alternative genre because pop's generally a little too bright and bubbly for me, and rnb is just... don't even go there.
About writing... hmm, well, I started writing in primary school and really took it off at the start of high school. I'm still developing my style and ability, but realise I feel most comfortable writing darker fantasy type things. Writing's not my life, though it does take up the most part of it I guess and part of me wants to become a writer when I finish school though that sounds pretty unattainable and unlikely...
I absolutely love...
Movies!
Favourite genres are action, sci-fi, horror (though it's sooo typical it's not even scary anymore) and thriller. I dislike romances and chick flicks (way too cheesy and mushy)
Roses! They're so pretty...
Writing! (well duh)
Myfriends! (Even though at times they drive me nuts)
Cloudy, rainy days! (a bit of a rare thing in sunshine Australia)
My T.V shows- Gossip Girl, CSI (all of them, but NY mostly), Heroes, Supernatural, Bionic Woman, House, Criminal Minds, Castle NCIS...
Music!
Accents from different parts of the world
Love American and British and even the really heavy outback Aussie ones. And Italian and New Zealand and all the European and Asian ones too... It's so fascinating to hear people pronounce things differently to you, and quite entertaining too
Things that make me smile...
Rainy days because the feel and sound of rain comforts me
Unexpected memories of silly times
My friends
Surprises!
Randomness!
When I’m sad, the two things that’ll guarantee to cheer me up... music and writing
When I’m peeved off, it’s probably because...
I’ve been standing in the sun for too long and it’s burning
People are judging others and being unkind
High school’s becoming unbearable.
(There are many more, but I don't want to go on foreverrr)
I like writing because... it gives me a chance to escape from reality, and if I don’t write all these ideas down my head’s gonna explode!
Yep, as human beings we’re all naturally social critters, so if anyone wants to talk just message me and I’ll most likely reply. I also like trading reads, so leave a comment on my stories and I'll return the favour and comment on yours

For as long as they could remember it had been hot. In this parched sun soaked land of ours the skies were an endless haze of light, without clouds, without relief. The children couldn’t remember a time when the sun didn’t sh

My senses pounded like wildfire in my head. I was surrounded by dozens of them – maybe more since I had lost count when my mind had become overwhelmed by their presence. In the pale moon streaked night they waited in the shad

The Area of Study for year 12 English this year is belonging, and whilst I’m starting to get sick of that word being said about half a dozen times each lesson and discussed to no end, it does make me wonder and question a lot about who I am as a person. I know, I’m going through that ‘adolescent thing’ where I try to
