I want great stories on any topic. It doesn't have to be the best written, but it must be great.
In your author's comments explain why you believe your story is great.
First place will receive a three month silver membership. If the winner is already a paid member, as winner you may give the membership to someone else. Second a gold trophy and 200 points, third a silver trophy and 100 points, and fourth will receive the bronze trophy and 50 points. There will be at least two honorable mentions.
IMPORTANT: If your story does not grab my attention in the first 500 words, I may not finish it. I will instead say, "Try again." If you wish you may try another story.
Suggested maximum limit is 3,000 words. If it is longer it will really have to be great. Great is not necessarily long and I am a slow reader. I don't want to get bogged down with too much reading.
