I'm writing a story called "It's a Secret" and it inspired me to start a contest. So, any story where the main plot revolves around or involves a secret. Pretty basic. So, time for the rules:
1.) The secret can't be something that's not part of the main plot.
2.) No erotica. At all. I will delete your story.
3.) No profanity. I mean it. I was very easy on my last contest but I will only except things like "heck" and "darn/dang" and "fudge" and "bunny." Suck and crap are okay, even though I'm not a fan. But I will delete stories with curse words.
4.) No longer than 5,500. I might read some of longer ones, but most likely not all. I won't delete stories for this, but I won't comment on the stories. No less than 500.

What kind of 'secret' are we looking at specificlly?

any secret. ie. love/crushes, death, plans, anything. It can be about something that was (supposed to be) a secret, but isn't now, or anything. The main plot doesn't have to be the secret, but the secret should be involved in the plot a lot.

Just want to say that in my story the secret is kept from my main character, which is discovered at the very end of the story...that's all of his training, and all of the technology that he uses has been lying to him
