This contest is intended to be a lot of fun for those who enter. The requirements are pretty simple:
You must begin your story with one of the lines that I provide and continue the story as best you can. YOU MUST CHOOSE ONLY ONE LINE!!!
That's pretty fun and simple right?
Here is a list of the lines with which you can start your story:
- The sun was shining in the sky with all of it's magnificent glory. On such a day as beautiful as this, I wondered how I could actually have the heart to do what I was about to do. To destory the lives of all those I care for and who care about me.
- I held the gun tightly in my hand as I loaded it with a full clip of ammunition. I knew that in order to succeed at what I was about to do, I would need all the lethal force that I could get.
- As I looked down as the ground from the top of the Empire State building, I asked myself, "What am I thinking?" I decided that killing myself was not the best option. Therefore, I decided to turn back and attempt to reach safe ground. However, as I turned around, a strong gust of wind pushed me off of the ledge of the skyscraper.
- There we stood. The man who murdered my family and me. I knew that this would be my only oppurtunity to take him down. But he was much stronger than me. I couldn't rely on brute force to take him out. I was going to have to make a move....and fast.
- As the bomb timer continued to tick down, I felt a sense of futility. The screen read 0:15. In other words, 15 seconds until 'bye-bye time.' This was it. My life was over. That is...until it happened.
As far as rules are concerned, there aren't many. Just the basics:
1.) All genres allowed!
2.) NoNe OF thiS Or I wIlL gET ReAlLy MaD!
3.) Your story must begin with one of these lines. You can change it around a little (like changing the tense of the verbs) but that's about it.
4.) Make your stories interesting. I LOVE humor. Those will get you a guaranteed HM. (I will add more based on the number of entries)
5.) Please have good grammar. I don't want any text-talk or unnecessary grammar murdering.
6.) If you have any other questions, please ask!
