Trophies for the Trophy-less

Do you have a story that you think is awesome, but doesn't have any trophies? Are you tired of waiting for that perfect contest to come along for you to submit your masterpiece? Well, look no further! This is a contest made purely for all those beautiful stories that are just dying to be noticed... As long as they have won absolutely no medals yet, regardless of how many other contests they've tried (and failed). But it can also be a new story, as long as you think it's awesome enough to deserve a trophy. That's why I've included an obscene number of honorable mentions, so [almost] everyone wins!*

Rules:

1. Make sure all grammar and spelling in your story is correct. I will take off [brownie] points for any entry that does not have proper grammar, regardless of how good it is.

2. No fanfiction or any other story that is not completely yours. It's not that there's anything particularly wrong with fanfiction, it's just that this is a contest for *your* story that you want to promote. So it MUST be ALL yours.

3. Remember not to submit anything that has already won a trophy. I don't care how many other contests it's been in, I just don't want it to have any other trophies. This contest was made purely for the trophy-less.

*Some restrictions apply. The creator of this contest is not responsible for any of the symptoms that may come from not winning:
1. Depression
2. Suicide
3. Stomachache
4. Migraine
5. HIV
6. Projectile vomiting
and more!

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on May 24
  • Rewards: Gold: 100, Silver: 50, Bronze: 25, Honorable mention: 5 people
  • Final notes:
All of the entries in the finalists were so great, it was extremely difficult just to judge them. I was rarely disappointed with any of these entries except for the ones that had bad grammar. That is the one thing that gets me every time. >.< Still, this contest was a lot of fun. It took so long to judge, but I loved it. Thank you all for entering! I tired to comment on them all... I hope there are not any that I missed. Anyway, thanks again to everyone who entered my contest. I love you all.

Feel free to contact me at any time! Some of you have such great talent.

    -Claire

  • lol HIV?

  • Wow, thanks everyone! I go to sleep last night, wondering how many entries I will really get, and then I sign on to find that a load of stories has exploded in my inbox! That was the first time that I actually had so many notes that I had to go to my inbox to see them. Thanks so much!!! I feel so special.

Well I hope you like my stories, though I hope it doesn' bother you that they are vampire. The one is really long, I hope you enjoy them!

  • Are we allowed to enter poems?

    • Yeah, sure, anything you want. Just as long as it has no trophies. And it has to be real writing, whether it's a poem, story, memoir... etc. But I would be happy to have a few poems in this contest.

  • I am entering this contest! It looks like fun, and I never received any trophies before so I might stand a good chance. And look, I entered right before the contest closed. LOL
