Short Stories

All genres accepted as long as it can be classified as a short story. Only restriction is that it must evolve around one of these three themes:

Parties, Lies or Presents

Meaning that either a party a lie or a present must be central to the story in some way.

I will do my very best to comment on all entries.

The rules:
1. Must be a short story (as in word count roughly between 500 and 10.000) No chapters from longer works.

2. Must be somewhat edited and properly typed.

3. Other that that, anything goes.

I've got a story I'd like to enter which includes a white lie. Well... not really a lie - it's simply not quite saying the whole truth, not saying what you really think. Does that count? :] It isn't hardcore lying (eg. not telling your best friend "I've slept with your boyfriend because I want to go out with his older brother, to make my sister jealous" type of thing lol) x

As long as it is central to the story it's alright :-)

Meh. Not sure... quite I guess, but then again... it's not so much about lying, it's more about trust. Nevermind, we'll leave it good luck with your contest xoxo
