Romance
I am giving you 10 options
1: Horror Romance-Something so dark and twisted it pushes me down to the depths of insanity.(You can use this sentence as a prompt by the way. *hint hint*)
2: Romantic Comedy-Make me laugh! Or at least go all warm and fuzzy inside. (Hint:I like stories about simpletons, you know people who may hurt your feelings but are actually 'good at heart')
3: Love Triangle-Give me really complex characters and situations, I'm not going to have some bimbette saying-"Oh my...whom do I choose?...It breaks my heart..."-yech.(Same for the guy)
Passionate Romance-It doesn't have to be erotica you know, a kind of version of Wuthering Heights
5:Romantic Fantasy-I want strange lands and stranger inhabitants of those lands, I want kings and queens, and heavenly creatures. It doesn't have to include magic, but it should have some kind of otherwordly element.
6:Historical Romance-Be fairly accurate in your descriptions. Make me experience the places and society!(No Victorian style please, and no maids and their handsome masters. A bit too cliched.)
7: Tragic Romance-People, you have forgotten what tragedy truly is. I want tragedy of Shakesperean and Wuthering Heights proportions. Yes, these are two immortal classics, but at least try!(Dramatically faints) It's okay exaggerate here.
I want your characters to be realistic-this is a three-dimensional world remember?
8: Ghost Romance-I don't want it to be some kind of human/ghost love story, but I want this really ill-fated romance narrated in the style of a ghost story. Give me the creeps! And even now their spirits wander the plains...This can be used as a prompt by the way *hint hint*
9: Romantic prompt-Leave a comment on the contest saying 'Romantic Prompt' and I will give you my prompt.
10: A romance which does not involve humans.
Rules
i)I should not have read the story
ii)I will be lenient with grammar and spelling, but I would appreciate it greatly if you proofread your story(Warning:Lenient in no way means 'ignorant')
iii)I will give more preference to new stories, but only if they exceed the length of 800 words(So don't submit any random stuff-I won't end this contest early, don't worry, and work on your story carefully)
iv)Minimum-500 words, Maximum-2500 words(Please message me if you want me to make some exceptions. Sometimes I read stories 20,000 words long if they are engaging enough)
v)I should not have read your story before. My previous names were FaeriesLie, Xm, Half-Judgemental, and I-Hate-Everyone and LittleHearted16, so you can check your stories for whether I've commented.
vi)I'm a writer, or not an activist. Please do not submit me stories about forbidden love, or love looked down upon in society. What's the use reading a 1000 word long story when all the while it's screaming something that can be expressed in 100?
vii)You can have gay characters in your story, but again, don't rattle off like I'm some kind of activist. I'm pretty sure they can have the drama and comedy in their lives that straight couples in literature do.
viii)Storywrite will not allow me to read stories labeled 'Adult'. If you enter an Adult story, I will send you a warning. If despite repeated warnings you do not remove your piece, I will complain. I am sorry, but once despite repeated messages a member did not remove their story, and I got into trouble for judging it. I can handle anything, but when it comes to the point that you have to label it 'Adult', I will not read it. So label your stories wisely.
ix)No high-school romance.
x)I will be lenient to those under the age of 14(i.e. born on April 21st 1994 and afterwards), and people who have joined on March 1, 2009 and afterwards.
xi)Rule no 11 was kidnapped! While the case is being investigated, proceed to Rule no 12.
xii)I would really hate it if favouritism for one author did not allow me to see the creative brilliance of another(Yeah, we are all human.)So, if you don't want to update your A/N, please get a friend of yours on Storywrite to comment on the contest with the Title of your Story. I'm sorry if it's confusing, but I've got no choice.
For those who can update their A/N, write I Read The Rules in it.
If your story satisfies the grounds for leniency, submit Leniency with your comment or A/N
I like novellas, and I might permit high school romance and a big word count for them.
If entering novels, please enter the prologue if you have one, or the first chapter.
Please do not send me random scenes, vignettes, or drabbles. I want interaction between both the protagonists(or all three of them, or four, depending on how many are there) and the beginnings of a romance atleast.
Fanfics and parodies are allowed, but they must contain romance, no matter how uproariously funny it is.
Thank you for reading my monstrous rules! I hope there are many entries.

Write a story beginning with the following quote from Edgar Allan Poe's poem Alone-
And all I loved, I loved alone
It's a bit gloomy, but give it a try!

Do you mind being a self sacrifice romance?
-
-
Fine, but I can be a bit feminist at times.

K, I'm scared now,
. But I'll enter it. But please don't be too harsh

Would a Harley Quinn fanfiction be okay? Like with her psychotic obsession over the Joker? Or would that not count as romance enough? Because I could do something else...
-
-
Yes, I wouldn't mind. As I said, horror romance is an option.
-
-
Can I have a prompt please? =)
-
-
Your prompt is the following line from a Sanskrit drama-"The pangs in my heart are stilled forever"

Hi Doombunny!
Thanks so very much for the bronze trophy. I appreciate it.
After what you'd said about Dark Fury, I didn't think I'd place with it
. Anyway, I'm very pleased that you like it.
Thanks for hosting.
Andy
