Ten Hymns for the Christian Writer (First Come, First Serve)

So this is what I want you to do, if you choose to enter. Below, I have the titles of ten hymns. Some of them you may know, some you may not. All you have to do is look them up on the web if you want the lyrics.

I want postive and encouraging writing, and original. You can use poetry for this, but it must tell a story.

01. "Amazing Grace" --Taken by Hyper Person 91.
02. "I Saw The Light"
03. "Step Into The Water"
04. "I'll Fly Away" -- Taken by Swiffer Samurai
05. "The Old Rugged Cross" --Taken by Orual.
06. "Onward Christian Soldiers" -- Taken by Anonymous.
07. "In The Garden"
08. "Doxology"
09. "All Hail The Power Of Jesus' Name" Taken by Delfishie.
10. "The Battle Belongs To The Lord"

RULES!!!! Yeah, I do have rules.

1) No swearing unless it serves a purpose. If that's the character, than that's the character. But even so, don't make it every other word. THIS INCLUDES BASHING OTHERS' RELIGION. Don't do that, it's not nice.

2) No erotica. Enough said.

3) No sticky caps. It's annoying and should be burried on Venus along with a lot of other stupid things.

4) No chat speak.

5) Grammar. I suck at it, but I'll let you know if you've made mistakes.

7) Minimum entry is 500 words. Maximum entry is 1,500.

8) Not really a rule, but have fun.

If you violate any of these, I'll disqualify you without a second thought.

One other thing, and this is extremely important: I am only accepting ten entries. You get to choose the hymn you want. If the one you want is taken, choose another. Just leave me a note down below and then tell me again in the author's notes. Got it? Good.

Nothing...I guess. Just strict-ish...like your word count.
And the fact that you're only allowing ten entries, meaning if I do want write something for this I'd have to hurry....

But yeah, pay no attention to the 'ew'....

Can I reserve Amazing Grace for a few days? I've got an awesome idea, but I need time to write it out.

Tempting as "Amazing Grace" is, I'll try "The Old Rugged Cross."
