This is my first contest here, so bear with me guys.
I have a few options:
1.) My boyfriend broke up with me a little while ago, and I want a good revenge story. So write about a girl who had her heart broken and got the guy back, bad. Anything goes, except murder in this case. It has to be realistic here.
2.) I'm a big fan of fantasy, so anything from this genre would work. Just please, no Lord of the Rings rip-offs, I've seen too many of those.
3.) Take the view of a high school senior just before graduation. Make it anyone, the valedictorian, the popular girl, the nerd no one noticed during school, the kid everyone thought wouldn't graduate... you get the picture. I want their hopes, their fears, everything. I want to feel as if I went to school with this person.
4.) Finally, I want a story about Wicca/paganism. Now, what I DON'T want for this option is a story about how it is the religion of evil. IT IS NOT!! You WILL BE DQ'd. You can have a character that holds that opinion, or have that be the conflict, but not have it be a debate over whether it is evil or not.
Anyway, on to the rules:
1- Please, no erotica... not into it, sorry.
2- I don't care if you swear, but try to keep control of it. I can't take a story seriously if every word is fuck. Unless it's the character.
3- Please don't bash the other authors.
4- Have fun. That's the point of these contests.
5- You have spell check, dictionary.com and numerous other sources to avoid the dreaded wrong spelling. Please use them! Thanks
I will attempt to comment on all the entries, but be warned, I take critquing very seriously, so be prepared. If there's something that I think needs to be fixed I'll tell you straight out and won't sugar coat it. It's not to be mean, just to point somethings out that will, hopefully, in the end improve your own skills.
