D is also for Desire
This contest will be slightly different from my previous ones as there are two things you MUST have in your story.
The first is there must be one person in disguise, now this can be a literal costume or it could be a person leading a double life or anything in between. However, it must be obvious that person is in disguise, meaning that their true identity is hidden.
The second is desire. Either: someone desires that person in disguise or the one in disguise desires another. This desire can be fulfilled or go unfulfilled but there must be a lot of emotion in it.
Make me feel their unease of not knowing or being able to show the truth and feel their need for the other person.
Just to be a little more explicit; I am NOT looking for the desire to be hidden. I'd like it to be very apparent. One or more of the people's identity should be hidden.
Some popular examples; Superman and Lois (she loved the disguised one but not his normal identity - or is it the other way around?), Mr. and Mrs. Smith (loved each other but didn't know the other was a spy), or the Phantom of the Opera and Christine (the ugly disguised Phantom desired the beautiful singer). There's many more examples, I'm sure you can come up with something unique, but hidden desire is a whole other contest.
If you must have erotica don't make the entire story about it, use it as a tool not as the plot. Also try to make it sensual and not hardcore. Remember emotions are the key to winning here.
Please use proper grammar and spelling, if I have to spend all my time critiquing and not reading, your story will not be considered to win.
Length: please keep below 5000 words, if you must go over than IM me and we'll work it out.
And please for the sake of all that I hold dear, have a complete story, not just a scene. You MUST have a beginning, middle, end, protagonist, and antagonist (need a reason for the disguise after all, but remember antagonists don't need to be people). Please try to follow proper dramatic structure
If you wish to enter a single chapter of something please IM me.
I may be inclined to be biased towards new writes. Also no fan fiction please.
And you might as well have

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on March 31
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 150, Bronze: 75, Honorable mention: 5 people
- Final notes: This was tougher than my last few contests. Though it had fewer entries there were several that were just so original and so good. The three top ones had to battle it out for gold, unfortunately only one could prevail.
I congratulate the winners and look forward to my next contest.

I might enter this...perhaps a new story--I love your contests.

Thanks! Hope you do enter.

about the disguise part
can it be someone who has put up walls around their heart, so that they don't show anyone how vunerable they are? -
-
That's stretching it quite a bit. I'd rather it be someone's Identity be in question. If you can work that out to where they've built up so many walls they don't even know who they are... then maybe.
-
-
Will you extend the time?
-
-
Depends on how long you need
Sure, I'm not in much of a rush, I'll extend it out to the 31st for now.
I might not change the date until I get a membership back because I think my formatting will go away.

Hey...
Originally, I'd planned to come up with a new story for your contest, but I'm stuck with writers block and I can't seem to produce a good enough story for this contest, so I decided to go with a prewrite. SORRY
-
-
Sorry to hear about the writer's block, it happens, if you do come up with something new let me know. And don't worry too much as long as I haven't read it before your prewrite is new to me.
As long as it fits, I have no problem with it.

Hi Toni!
Thanks for the honorable mention and points. I appreciate them. I'm glad you like my story.
Thanks for hosting.
