Now - I realise you said 3000 words max, but I don't write horror any less than 3000 words - it is not really enough time to establish good background/atmosphere. Plus the one I have that is close to that word limit (100 over) is rather graphic and categorised as 'adult' due to the the level of gore in it.
Please give Eight Months a chance - read it through (I promise it will hold your attention) - if you don't like it, just DQ it.
