Want to show off what you can really do?

Do you get that feeling that you never write as well as you used to? I know I do, and it kind of annoys me, because I know that when I really get down to it, I can write pretty well.

So, I want you really show me that one story you're really proud of, the one which you think best reflects your abilities. I don't care what it's about, just pick out that short story which you don't think deserves to just be gathering dust.

I would prefer it not to be too long, though if you think that it will keep my interest for that long, go for it. Like I said, it should really show how good you are at writing - you might have written it a year ago, but it still was you who wrote it, and that proves something.

Clearly the best part about this contest is that you don't have to do any writing for it (unless you really want to), so just go for it.

Good luck!

Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm judging it at the moment. It's taking me ages because there are so many entries, but I have a free week next week, so I should be able to do it then.
      Thanks for your patience guys!
