Yeah, I know! But hopefully this'll be different, since most song contests are all one specific type according to the maker's tastes, but stuff like Michelle Branch and Iron Maiden are like worlds apart from each other - so hopefully it'll appeal to alot more people.

it seems to me it is imposible for any one to put a song contest in that has good music all you got is that new shit everyones listening to music that is tried and true. -

I hardly call the songs by Kiss, Saliva, Bon Jovi, Barenaked Ladies, Coldplay, ectr "new shit". Suggest to me a "tried and true" song that you would call good.
