Once Upon A Time...

Calling all Fantasy Writers!!!!! I was extremely bored, so I thought I'd host a contest for all you awesome-tastic fantasy writers like my self. Hehe :-)

So warm up your fingers and make sure you've got your creative juices flowing for this one.

-Rules-
Yes, I know we all hate rules, but we have to have them. I have been relaxed on the rules before in my previous contests but I'm sticking to them this time.

1. No, absolutely NO Erotica. Don't care if you love to write it, just do not put it in this contest or it will be DQ'd.

2. No bashing what so ever. That includes religion of any type, sexual orientation, or God bashing of any type. That is just rude and unnecessary.

3. Minimum word limit: 1,000 words Max word limit: 4,000. Now I will allow 100 words either way, because I know sometimes you are so into the story you have to go over. And other times you are running out of things to say/write. So I will allow 100 words under or over the limits but no more.

4. I don't mind cursing, just not every other word. Keep it at least semi-clean.

5. You may use as much blood and gore as you'd like. Violence doesn't bother me.

6. Please put the option you chose in the AN. (Note: You may choose more than one option, just make sure you tell me which ones you chose in the Author's Notes.)

7. HAVE FUN!!!!

Now for the Options.....

Option I -- Vampires

1. Give me your best vampire story. No restrictions. Just go ALL OUT.

2. Give me a story where the female is in danger and the vampire (preferrably male) drops in and saves her. (yes he can turn her if he wishes)

3. Give me a story where the vampires are blood-thirsty animals that go practically insane when they taste blood. Like a rampage; massacre the unsuspecting towns-folk. (Have fun with this one)

4. Rearrange what a vampire is. What it is vulnerable to and what it can do. (For instance super strength, speed, etc.) Come up with your own vampire and tell its story.

Option II -- Werewolves

1. Tell what a human feels when they transform into a werewolf. What happens to their minds, what they feel, what they think.

2. Does a Werewolf only transform under a full moon? Tell your own story. Make it as wild as you'd like. It could transform when ever it wants, or only at a special time. Redefine how I look at a Werewolf.

3. Give me your very BEST werewolf story. Have me on the edge of my seat wanting more.

Option III -- Mermaids

1. How exactly does one become a Mermaid? Are they simply born that way? How does it work? Tell me.

2. Give me a story of a merman and/or mermaid who go on an "adventure" to get/save/accomplish something. Have them defeat some type of underwater monster along the way.

Option IV -- Fairies/ Witches

1. Are good witches really good and are bad witches really evil? Give me a story of a good witch turning evil or vice versa.

2. Give me your best Fairy story. Hehe, they are so cute. Unless they are evil. Then, in that case they are the opposite of cute.

3. Tell a story of a witch or fairy getting revenge on someone. Make sure to tell what the person did to deserve revenge, and what the witch/fairy does to get it.

Option V -- Mythical Creatures

1. Give me your best Fantasy story. It can have any type of mythical being, I don't care.

2. Create your own Mythical Creature. Describe it. Tell us whether it is good or evil. Tell a story.

3. Give me an epic battle between to different types of creatures. (I.E. Vampires vs. Werewolves, Witches vs. Centaurs)

Option VI -- Prompt

1. Message me and ask for a prompt for my contest. I will then give you one.

You can ask for a character, a story starter, a paragraph, a picture, anything. Just make sure you are exact on what you want me to give you.

Option VII -- Dragons

1. Write an adventure story of a Dragon and a Knight. How do they meet? What do they do to help the world? Or do they try and destroy it?

2. Write from the dragons Point Of View.
