For the second contest in my A-Z series I wish for you to write me a bedtime story.
Most of us had parents that read us stories after they tucked us into bed. Stories that let our dreams take shape. Silly stories or sweet stories, sometimes adventurous stories, but never anything scary or sad. Something a kid 7 and younger might like.
This is what I want; for you to tell me a bedtime story. It can be an old tale that your parents told you made up or passed down, or it can be something completely new.
"I'll be your pal forever" points if you channel (not parodying) Dr. Suess or Shel Silverstein as those are what my father read us the most.
It shouldn't be any longer than what any normal child's bedtime story would be, in other words we don't want them to fall asleep out of boredom.
No bad language of any kind and no erotica should go without saying.
Bashing is bad and we don't want to teach our kids about it.
And use proper grammar, etc please.
And of course have fun because if you don't, the kids won't.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on January 4
- Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 6 people
- Final notes: I had quite a bit of fun with this contest and I loved all the unique and interesting tales you had. I really am a kid at heart and so many of these brought that kid out more.
I loved the moral in the Gold winner, the sweet tale of the silver, and far off land feeling of the bronze.
HM's are in no particular order but each were wonderful tales that I think many children would love.
Thank you all for entering.
