I finished reading "Luna" by Julie Anne Peters, my favorite author, and I loved it. I also love "Keeping You A Secret" by the same author. Incase you do not know what the books are about, here it goes:
"Luna"-A book about a transsexual told from the POV of the T-girl's sister. Interesting, huh?
"Keeping You A Secret"-A book about a girl coming out as a lesbian and the harsh consequences of it.
Why did I type that info? Because I love those books and I really hope people would read it. And also because part of this contest will revolve around those two books.
Option 1- I really hope people will pick this one!
-I want to read about a transsexual whether it begins from the beginning or from planning to come out. I want to know all the effects of it [emotional and mental] not just for the transsexual character but also the people affected around him or her. I really want this to move me and make me feel all the emotions running around.
Option 2
-I want to read a story involving drugs, alcohol, smoking, abuse [physical, mental, verbal], sexual abuse, domestic violence, depression, suicide, and/or rape. Again, I want all the emotional and mental consequences/feelings.
Option 3
-I want to read about a picture perfect life of a girl or a boy that comes crashing down with one simple action/event but somehows gradually becomes better.
Option 4
-Any cliffhanger. Make it a really good one that makes me want to hunt you down and finish the story!!! =P
Option 5
-I want to read about a GREAT story about the life of a lesbian, gay, or bisexual person. I don't want all romance, okay? I want to feel the emotions running around in the character's mind. I want to know the effects it has on people around the character. I want the harmful effects of coming out. LITTLE romance is okay but I hope there won't be much.
Option 6
Anything you want!!!
So, why did I give you options if option 6 allows you to write whatever you want? Well, let's just say that I'll love stories that are based on option 1-5 and it will have better chances of winning. Mind you that I get bored easily with trite plots and what not so be creative. I want the characters to be developed!
The detested rules:
NoNe oF thIs S**T
No bashing anything or anyone
No erotica
Cuss all you want
Spelling and grammar counts!!
Each quote gets it's own line!!
*This is my fault but I completely forgot to ask everyone who enters to write what their option # is in their Author's Notes--so for the people who already entered, don't spaz. The people entering, please write what option # you picked because that'd be helpful =)*
If you have bad spelling, grammar, etc. I'll just remove you from the contest.

Author's Notes
I've noticed that a few people have posted what their options are on here and it's my fault for not saying this:
Please put your option number in your Author's Notes sections =) That would be helpful. Please don't post it in the comments area =) -
