So here's what's up. It's around Christmas time and everyone knows it gets cold around that time. The fireplace is going and hot chocolate is at hand. At least in Colorado it is! I think of warm blankets and soft music, so it only makes sense that I also see cuddling and heartfelt feelings.
Can you guess what this contest is going to be about? Warm and fuzzy stuff to be brief. I want to read love stories or things that just make your heart soften. Can you do that for me?
Rules (It just looks like a lot of rules...bear with me!):
1. No sticky caps or chat speak, those are highly irritating!
2. I don't care if the piece you enter is a short story, the beginning/end of a longer piece, or just a random blurb that popped into your head. Prewrites are welcome as well!
3. Word minimum is 1000 words and there is really no maximum on it, but please, keep it reasonable!
4. Cursing is perfectly fine, any form of it because it really doesn't bother me.
5. Though I'm not sure erotica gives the whole warm and fuzzy feeling, it is allowed. Just don't make it porn or anything... The story has to have a plot too!
6. I have issues with gay-bashing, racist, and religion-bashing things, which shouldn't be an issue with these kind of piece but you never know. So please try not to make a main character any of those.
7. Seriously, do I even need to put this rule in here? Spell-check is your friend, pay attention to your friend. Yes I know not everything is going to be perfect, but I don't want to stop every two seconds to figure out a word.
8. Poems are okay I guess, but I'd rather have a story to read... Only one entry per person though!
9. Almost forgot... Fantasy, Scifi, and stuff is totally fine by me if it still goes with the theme. Please please please do not write a story that resembles any romance story that every girl has read" *Cough* Twilight *Cough* Vampires are okay... just I'm kinda sick of Twilight!
Alrighty, so that's all the rules... Go ahead and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as twilight goes...I'm with you there. I'm not convinced the series is all bad, but the popularity has kind of turned me off to it. I'm getting sick of it. (:
