Here it is, the next round of the competition! (Please DO NOT enter anything in this contest if you did not win the last round of this contest-however, there will be roles for everyone, so don't go anywhere just yet!)
As you know, for the first round, you were able to enter anything you liked, now you will have to write from one of these four options below......
Option One
Write about a murderer. No, it's not that easy, you have to do something unusual, which isn't done very often in crime thrillers. Instead of making me feel sorry for the victim, twist it-make me feel sympathy for the killer, make me angry, or indifferent to the victim.
Also, this option has to be between 1500-3000 words, and you must include this phrase somewhere in the story- 'It had to be the strangest picture he had ever seen.'
Option Two
For option two, I want comedy. Comedy can be one of the hardest things to write well, and I really want to be able to laugh. You can write about anything that tickles your fancy, but you MUST include these objects/people/phrases somewhere in your story-all of them. Yup.
- A rubber duck
- A man called Evan Moore
- A garden hoe
- A broken fireplace
- 'Hey Barbara, where did I leave my trousers?'
- A hula-dancer lamp
- And a cat named Thomas the Great.
Sound random? Yup, that's because it is. There is no word limit for this option, but please don't make an epic of it.
Option Three
Fantasy. Well, okay, it's a bit more than that. You will have to write a fantasy entry (and in my eyes, this can be quite broad, anything from pixies and elves to werewolves and vampires), from one of the picture prompts below.

http://sleepysh.deviantart.com/art/Nature-68528715
For this option you will need to make the story AT LEAST 2500 words, no limit, but don't go overboard.
Option Four
Ah, the fourth and final option. This is probably the hardest option, and I must admit I saw the idea in another contest and thought it looked cool.
You can write whatever you like-BUT! You have to include the alphabet. Every sentence must be written with the first capital letters running through the alphabet.
Example; At the crossroads, I saw Claire. But she looked as though she had been crying. "Crying? I asked myself, shaking my head......
Get it? And once you get to 'Z', you have to go all the way backwards again, from 'Z' to 'A'! (So your story will begin and end with 'A')
*Note-you can take it from 'Z' instead and do it the other way around as well, as long as you follow the rules*There is no word limit for this, as that will be dictated by the number of sentences you have, so you have free rein there.
Well, those are the options, so you must pick one, and write it up before the contest closes. Now, even if you aren't in the contest, there will still be something for everyone to do.
I would love it if everyone could vote on their favourite story once all the entries are in. Simply put which is your favourite in the comments at the bottom of this page. If there aren't enough people to vote, don't panic, we will still judge it, just the old fashiond way
So, enjoy your next round! If you have any questions, please ask me, I'm willing to answer any problems!

Thanks for the silver in round one, glad you enjoyed my story.
-
-
No problem, it was a really funny story-but you already knew that!
-
-
So if you didn't participate in Round One of your contest then you can't enter?
-
-
I'm afraid not, sorry
However, you can still vote when all the entries for this contest are in.
-
-
so, only the gold, silver and bronze can enter? Or can the HM's enter too?
-
-
No, it's all the HM's as well as the G,S and B. If you got a message from me asking you to enter (which you did
) you can enter!
-
-
Ok, I'm good now. You have good options, and I hopefully will have something for it
-
-
-
Alright, these are some flexible options. lol I will try and have a story written by the due date, but I have exams this week so hopefully I can make it. *crosses fingers*
-
-
If you have a problem with the dates, just let me know, and I'll change the contest dates
-
-
OH, okays thank you.
-
-
-
umm, about the forth option
do you have to have two sentances beginning with z, or only one(or a if you're going backwards)? -
-
Basically, let's say you want to begin with 'A'. You would have to start with 'A', go all the way to 'Z', then go all the way backwards from 'Z' back to 'A' for the second half of the story. (Or vice versa if you began with 'Z')
-
-
I have final exams this week, but I'll try to get a story finished in time...
-
-
That's okay, I'll push the dates a little further back until after the holidays, as I realise everyone might be very busy
-
-
So the contest will be open after Christmas a bit too? Or the ending date for the 25th?
-
-
Yup, it's going to be open till Jan the 7th
-
-
-
-
Woo, now NaNo is well and truly over, I can start thinking about this. Glad the dates have been pushed back a bit, I wanna do something good for this, which will take time. xD
-
-
Can't wait for it!
-
-
*wipes sweat from brow*
I'm glad you bumped the closing date on this, I was beginning to think that I wasn't going to get my story done in time. -
-
Hehe, don't worry
A lot of people needed the extra time so I was always planning on bumping it up-unfortunately I can only put the dates so far forwards at a time, so I've been doing it bit by bit!
-
-
I definitelly have something for this- still working on it but exams and school and Christmas got me busy.
-
I am writing something for this! It should be done very soon.
-
I'm glad I have more time- I'm doing a A to Z story but since each sentence counts I'm trying to get the wording right and make sure its good for the contest.
-
I will try to be finished by tomorrow.
thank you for extending it.
