I. The Rules.
*This is my contest. I reserve all rights to end it, pull your entry without telling you why (though if you can be mature enough, you may send me a message and ask why), and be brutally honest when commenting your entry.*
*I will comment every entry, so no complaining if what I have to say isn't very nice. Now, I'm not going to be mean just for the sake of it, but I will be honest.*
*Type normally. No messed up typing.*
*SPELL CHECK.*
*Adult writing is fine by me, but make sure that they are labeled correctly.*
*Put your option number in your author's notes, and, -if applicable- the quote, lyric, or emotion that goes with that option.*
II. Options, options, and more awesome options!
Option One: The quotes.
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."- Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady.
"Patience is the companion of wisdom."- St. Augustine.
"Beauty is indeed a good gift of God; but that the good may not think it a great good, God dispenses it even to the wicked."- St. Augustine.
"When humor goes, there goes civilization."- Erma Bombeck.
"A friend is someone who knows the song of your soul and sings it back to you when you've forgotten the words."- Anonymous.
"The toughest thing about success is that you've got to keep on being a success."- Irving Berlin.
"I feel like I just found out that my favorite love song was written about a sandwich."- 27 Dresses.
Option Two: The lyrics.
(for this option, you may send me a message about a favorite song of yours if it is not on this list and I will consider adding it.)
"Those you've known and lost still walk behind you. All alone, they linger til they find you. Without them, the world grows dark around you, and nothing is the same until you know that they have found you."- From the musical Spring Awakening.
"Had a sweetheart on his knees. So faithful and adoring. And he touched me, and I let him love me. So let that be my story."- From the musical Spring Awakening.
"There's a moment you know. You're fucked."- From the musical Spring Awakening.
"Oh, I'm gonna be wounded. Oh, I'm gonna be your wound. Oh, I'm gonna bruise you. Oh, you're gonna be my bruise."- From the musical Spring Awakening.
"Today for you, tomorrow for me."- From the musical Rent.
"Will I lose my dignity? Will someone care? Will I wake tomorrow from this nightmare?"- From the musical Rent.
"I'm not insane, I'm not insane."- Almost Easy, by Avenged Sevenfold.
"Come back to me, it's almost easy." Almost Easy, by Avenged Sevenfold.
"Sorrow, sank deep inside my blood. All the ones around me I cared for and most of all I loved. But I can't see myself that way, please don't forget me or cry while I'm away." I Won't See You Tonight Pt. 1, by Avenged Sevenfold.
"Sing me something soft, sad and delicate, or loud and out of key. Sing me anything."- Existentialism on Prom Night, by Straylight Run
Option Three: The Emotions.
:Agony. I want REAL agony, not just "oh, this made me so sad." I want you to make me feel it.
:Love. This can be taken anyway you want, it doesn't have to be traditional love, in fact, I will probably like it more if it isn't.
:Hate. Write about someone or something that you absolutely hate. This doesn't have to be a dark story; in fact, I applaud anyone who can successfully write a humorous hate story.
:Shyness. You can take this prompt any way that it strikes you, there are no real limitations or expectations for this one.
:Euphoria. This is more than just happiness. If you have a true understanding of this word, please write me a story about it
Option Four: Make Me Cry.
That's right, I want you to make me cry. Simple as that. Or is it?
I will add more options as I come up with them.
So get going!

Wow, this is an awesome idea! I'm DEFINITELY entering
Can we enter more than once?
-
-
Yes, you definitely can
-
-
Haha I loved singing along to your options I'm deffintely entering. ^_^
-
-
Can't wait to read your entry
-
-
LOL i have the 27 Dresses quote on my profile
that movie's awesome. and yeah, i might enter, if i get the chance...i'm working on soooo many stories at the moment...LOL.
-
-
I was thinking of what quotes to add, and I knew I just had to add that one, lol.
-
-
Ha ha, I may have to enter a story with that in it...oh does the quote have to actually be in the story or just based around the idea?
-
-
It just has to be based around the quote, or inspired by it. If you want, you can include the quote in it, but that's not required.
-
-
-
-
Somebody likes Spring Awakening...you're a kindred spirit!
-
-
I loooooove Spring Awakening.
-
-
Do I need to mention the topic I'm writing on in my Author Notes? Or is it just a "go for your life" sort of thing?
-
-
You need to list the Option number, and, if applicable, the lyric, quote or emotion that goes with it. Just like it says in the rules.
-
-
Much appreciated, thankyou.
-
-
-
OMG! I love Spring Awakening!!!
I shall enter if I have the time.
I'm excited! -
-
I look forward to reading your entry =]
