Rainy Day (pic prompt)

"When it rains, the angels are washing the heavens...."
~A family quote passed down for generations to come

The rules are simple:
1. Use the picture above
2. no more than 1,000 words *unless it really entrances me*
3. nothing erotic
4. nO TyPiNg LiKe ThIs *does anyone do that?*
5. nothing cheesy/corny *though I do that a lot*

To help you get started: You could either be the person staring out the window and seeing a girl out in the rain, or you could be the girl outside. Either one works for me

The picture is very mysterious, so while I'm reading you short story I want to feel that way.

Have fun, and good luck!

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on December 5, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 200, Silver: 150, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 1 people
  • Final notes:
So sorry for the delay, but I've finally got to it!

I can't believe that I got so many entires for my contest! I think I got more responses from Rainy Day than any of my other ones. Which made selcting winners even harder.

There were many stories that I would think as heart-warming, sad, mysterious, and humorous, which I tried to put all into the finalist list. I found all entries special in their own unique way.

Thankyou for taking your time to write such great stories! Keep an eye out for more of my contests

    ~Lone
