"Tonight will end without sound..."

NO MORE ENTRIES PLEASE. THIS IS ONLY OPEN FOR THOSE WHO HAVE PROMPT ENTRIES TAHT THEY HAVE TO FINISH. (:

Well, it's been a while since I've held a contest and I have an impossible amount of points.
Not really, but for me at least.
I haven't had many creative contest ideas, so I'm going to give a few options, but not just options, my kind of options.
Since this contest hasn't been thought out entirely, my options might change soon.

Firstly.
I'd like you to write me a story in memories. I don't mean just give me the story in first person, past tense. I mean use flashbacks frequently, change times, and just try and make it seem reminiscent. It can be a simple memory, like going to the park with a friend, a sad memory, like a death, or anything. I really love the use of memories. Try and keep dialogue to a minimum if you choose this option, just because it'll probably be easier, but, I suppose if you're up for a challenge, do what you can. I really encourage this option because flashbacks and memories are wonderful reads and fun to write, if you ask me.

Secondly.
You can ask me for a prompt.
I won't give you a plot, but I may give a song, a quote, a picture is unlikely, but it may happen, I might even give you a character and tell you to fit them in somewhere. I'm not too fond of options like this, but if you need a push, here it is. But, I give you fair warning, my push might send you off the edge a bit and you will have to work.

Thirdly.
Show me something.
I don't mean just give me a load of descriptions. Show me by just writing. Don't give me pointless dialogue or ridiculous nuances. If you're still not catching my drift, give me a story with little to no dialogue. I want you to still tell me a story, and have characters, but they can't speak. Don't bore me with this one, it's difficult. I'd be very impressed with whoever takes on this option.

**Please put your option in your AN unless it's BLATANTLY obvious what you've chosen.**

Now, Rules.
I'm mostly lax with rules.
I don't care what you bash, your opinions, and I'll respect 'em. If you're going to "bash," make it purposeful, though. It has to fit your story. Also, I'm completely fine with swearing and gay/les/bi stories. Be erotic if you wish, be gory and disgusting. Whatever floats your boat, really. Keep it tasteful is my request, though. I highly encourage you to be original. I don't like cliches in characters, or plots. Characters are very important to me, and I like them to be well developed and real, so keep that in mind when you write. I enjoy romance, which you may also want to keep in mind, but I really enjoy almost anything so long as it has a tinge of originality.

Now, I'd really appreciate it if you kept your grammar and spelling near impeccable. I hate grammatical errors and I hate spelling errors as well. And, by "really appreciate," I mean, edit your work profusely and avoid having errors at all. If I find too many errors, I will stop reading your story. On that note, I will read just about any length so long as I'm captivated, so, keep me so.

I believe I established all my rules and whatnot.

Prewrites are allowed, I'll comment every entry, honestly, though, and I will probably not DQ.

Like most of my contests, if you put the name of the song that my contest title came from in your AN, I will give you fifty points. (=
But, only if you can name it without the use of any aid, like google or the internet, for that matter.

Is it okay for the little to no dialouge one if it only has two lines of dialouge?

      Definitely.
One or two lines is acceptable, but I don't want a flood of it. =]

I'm thinking of sticking to one unless you intend to enter to multiple options.
Or you wish to plead your case.

So it's okay if I already entered one piece on option three, and then want to enter another piece on option one?

For the third option, is thinking OK? 'Cause I got one which the MC thinks a bit, but no dialogue at all.

      It depends.
I'm all for thoughts, but is it thinking like rambling to oneself? Or does it have a plot and story within the thought?
If it's not very "story-like," but you think it deserves to be read I'll consider adding an option for thoughts. I'm never opposed to more options and entries. (:

Not really rambling, he just thinks a bit while the story goes on - develops the plot and back story in his thoughts.

I'll enter it and you can see for yourself, if it sucks, it sucks, if it's good, it's good.

Put in an entry, and then you may. (=
Just give it a title like, "Prompt me!"
Or just write it in the body that you'd like a prompt.

Everyone needs more comments on their contests!!
Huzzah for commenting contests, and for being me. (and you.)
Jeepers I'm in a strange mood today.
Is it okay to mash the options?
Can I show you a series of memories with little to no talking?
    Or is that a no-no?
