Lies!

Why do people lie? Often it is to spare the feelings of others or to stay out of trouble. Even though we look down on others who do it, we have all done it at some point in our lives. I want to read stories where lies are used to manipulate situations, and the feelings that come up as a result, relief, guilt, sadness, betrayal, love. do whatever you want with it and make it your own.
