Have You Ever Been In Love?

Love is a powerful thing. It truly is. It can't move mountains, but it can move us...and we can destroy the mountain or conquer it for love.

With that in mind, think about this: What if you were denied love? Love so powerful, so true that you just KNEW that it was meant for you?

Now, write me a story based on that.

Less than 5,000 words.
Adult is allowed, just make sure you list it appropriately.
Don't bring up religion.

    My entry's based off of what I've felt before, but in my voice I switched genders and made the object of my affections a vampire. You can cut me if it wasn't what you were looking for.

    Um I have a story, but it doesn't flat out say "I was denied love." It was based off an expirience where someone I loved didn't love me in return. Is that good for this contest or not? =]
