Quick and Easy...points, that is!!

Hey there everyone!

Well, this semester in college I'm taking creative writing, and we've just reached our fiction unit (yay!). Problem is, I can't think of anything to write for it!

So I'm switching the roles a bit and looking for prompts from you guys. It can be anything from a sentence, to a small break-down of how the story should go. Whoever gives me the prompt that morphs into my Writing assignment gets the points.

So, some "guidelines"

1- It needs to be something where I really focus on the character(s).

2- It must have room for some dialogue.

3- It should be school-appropriate (so, PG-13).

4- This is a prompt, NOT A STORY. I will DQ stories, because I'm not interested in plagiarizing.

5- Originality is key! Have the prompt be original, but also allow me to take my own spin on it.

Pretty easy, right? So get typing!

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on November 3, 2008

  • Final notes:
Thanks everyone for a great contest, and for giving me so many great ideas to try and get this story going! I really loved the depth and detail some of you went into to help me. But, in the end, a line caught my interest and I instantly got a story in my head that I want to try out for English.

That being said, thanks again for the great contest, and I hope to see you guys again in my next one!

Not particularly. No fan-fiction since it's a school assignment, but any other type of genre fiction is fine.

Lol, ^_^ Well, Prof. Dresser would probably love to read something over Pg-13, but I don't wanna give her a heart attack when it comes from innocent little me.
