Savannah's great comeback contest

^_^ I haven't made one of these things for a long time. My computers broken, so times limited. That is why I am making this contest- I want to read stories, but I don't have time to look for short, good ones.

Baically, this contest is for short stories. Really good ones- give me the best you have! Aren't very many rules. Just these:

1.) No erotic content- I can't read it, I don't want to read it, you WILL be DQed, and I don't like doing that.

2.) No vaimpires, please. They would be easy to find, and there are so many that I'm vaimpired out. Sorry.

3.) No gay/ lusbian stuff. I have absolutly no problem with it, it's just not the type of thing I'm interested in. ^_^

4.) Fantasy/sci-fi will get brownie points

5.) and finally, have fun. Yes, that is a rule.

6.) oh, yeah, and just for the heck of it, put your favorite food in the autors note.

That's it. Hope you have fun. I'll get them all read, and all WILL be commented, I asure you. ttyl

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on October 31, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 5 people
  • Final notes:
Wow, guys, these were some great stories. I loved them all, so those of you who didn't win were great also. To those who won, your stories either made me laugh, like the Snow White one or Found in space (lol, a giant button) or think, like The woodne tomb, Stentor and Emotions rule. The discriptions were great in them and they made me smile. Great job, everyone, and thanks for entering the contest.

    How short?

How short do you consider short? My best "short stories" are around 6000 words. I can enter some of my shorter things but I don't consider them my best.

Well... hmmmm... you could enter your long one, but it would be easier if you but one of your shorter ones. I don't have much time on the computer and I'd feel bad if I can never finish a long story. If you grant me permission to print it out, so I can read it at school and comment later, it'd be fine. ^_^ I promise to thouroghly shed the papers when I'm done.

SW isn't letting me edit my story, so I can't stick my fav food in the AN. Story is Found In Space, my fav food at the moment is hamburgers.

You never know with some of these contests, some people will DQ you for not putting that in the AN... it takes so much effort though...
