In the spirit of the approaching All Hallow's Eve i want creeptastic thrillers!
Not too much gore please- i want to jump out of my seat not look away from the screen squemishly (i don't want a remake of the texas chainsaw massacre). i don't mind people being killed but don't make it just about people being killed (or tortured to death like in Saw)
i want to be scared! Entice me! Terrify me! i want to feel chills go up my spine like there's a serial killer stood right behind me!
It can be any sort of scary story- monsters of a mythical kind or humans who are monsters!
the keywords here are EERIE and CREEPY
Prewrites are allowed, but read the criteria CAREFULLY!
In the spirit of the contest I am not going to read any of the stories until Halloween itself- when the contest ends
(yes, I have nothing better to do on halloween- it's not as big over in england
)
i want doors creaking, haunted houses, witches, vampires, werewolves and pyschopaths are welcome!
basic rules:
no sticky caps
swearing is allowed but there is over 40,000 words in the english language- so not in every line please! and were appropriate- i don't want to hear a five year old telling the monsters under the bed to fuck off.
no gay/lesbian please- nothing against it, just don't want to read it. In fact no erotica, full-stop.
keep it under 3,000? too long and i might just give up.
remember- you have until halloween. and everything's possible on halloween. *Mwah-hah-hah-ha-Mwah-ha-ha-er, too much? thought so*
happy halloween...

Umm..
Does it have to be related to Halloween? -
-
it doesn't technically have to be related to halloween, as long as it scares me/makes me jump/wateva.

My entry may not seem very gory/creepy/scary and it has a 'happy' ending...but it messes with your head (as does the main character's) so I hope it still fits for your contest. ^.^ If not, than I will not be offended if you DQ mine. >.<

Thank you so much for HM!! and Congrats to the other winners! ^^
