Antagonist

'From the point of veiw of the Antagonist, rewrite any fairy tale to tell their side of the story'

^^That's an assignment I got in English^^

And that's what I want for this contest, although I'll expand my verisons, you can write ANY story from the point of veiw of the Antagonist (please don't submit anything that was origanlly written in the point of veiw of the antagonist) and if you use one of your stories, please tell me which one in your author's notes.

Please note:

-Humor is not frowned upon *hint hint*

-Stories should be somewhere from 300-2000 words long

-I've written two for English, so I'm allowing multiple entries

-This is a lot of fun, so have fun with it!

-Prewrties ARE allowed, but please make sure that it fits the contest.

-Points WILL increase

if you're not sure what I'm talking about, here's the one I wrote =DD

Wait... if we can't submit stories already written from the antagonist's point of view, what prewrites are acceptable? I can't think of anything... (I'll probably enter a fresh write anyway, but I'm still wondering.)

I know a few people who changed stories around so that the Antagonist is the lead rather than the protanonist as is in the origanal, that's why that's there =DD

So... I'm confused. My brain is clearly not working right. If I have a story where the antagonist was *always* the narrating and "lead" character, I can enter that?

it depends, what's your story about, called? was it written off a fairy tale??

I can't find the story I was looking for. Apparently I don't have it uploaded after all. Ugh. But I did do a version of Little Red Riding Hood with a significant plot twist a little while ago. I could just as easily do a fresh write of LRRH with the same plot twist, switching the perspective to the wolf's. Would that be like what you're looking for? Or is that too close to revising a prewrite? (Heck, I could even write the original myth from the wolf's perspective if you want, but that seems a bit too easy, if you see what I mean.)

the origanal of that would have been fine, what you wrote to begin with, if it's based off something that already exsists, but go for it, I look forward to reading it =DD

Well, the one I originally wrote is set from the Woodsman's perspective in the story and he's not the villain, traditionally, although he arguably is in my version. The original version is called "Too Late" if you want to read it... I'll enter a Wolf-narrated one later today or tomorrow

can it be disney movies? (Lion King, Aladin, Alice in Wonderland...) cause those arent the "classic childhood" mother goose kind of fairy tales...

I have something that I wrote awhile ago, that would fit this perfectly. The only thing is that the original story was a manga, so it is fanfiction. Is that allowed in this contest?

    Thank You!

Thanks so very much for the gold trophy and points. I appreciate them. I'm glad that you like the true tale of Little Red Riding Hood. It's amazing how stories get distorted over the years.

    Thanks for hosting.
