Here are the rules.
You’re in a post apocalyptic world where technology and society have taken 1 step forwards and 2 steps back. Although some aspects are futuristic the world is grimy and erratic.
Your Protagonist is you, your age, your gender, your hair colour, but you have the poetic license to make up skills/traits to turn yourself into a bounty hunter.
If you’re able to give your character depth through giving him/her flaws extra points given.
Able to keep the story to a level of realism (without getting too weird with Martian sea turtles that fire lasers from their armpits) extra points awarded.
Artistic flair will be rewarded also.
Now.. You’re all hunting.....
MAXI PADDY- Wanted Dead or Alive
an illegal bare knuckle boxing champ who lost his title and killed three men in a bar. One of the men killed was a distant cousin of a politician.
He's 6 foot 2, 200 pounds, lean build, with dark hair, dark eyes, and tanned skin.
The rest is up to you- capture him, don’t capture him, kill him, marry him, use your imagination.
Good luck.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on December 2, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 150, Silver: 30, Bronze: 15, Honorable mention: 3 people
- Final notes: WOW this competition has been quality over quantity, i would recomend reading all three.
The winner, The Fourth Floor is a gripping story, dark and witty, it creats a setting that blows away the competition. you'll be hooked after the first few lines.
Nine Lives and Life Happens That Way Bub were soo close i almost had to toss a coin, |Nine lives wins it due to the ending, which had a strange charm. you both used a minimalistic style to portray fun but at the same time dark stories (which play out amusingly similar) without taking it too seriousely.
THANK YOU ALL!
i hope you will all enter my future competitions, i look forward to reading more by all of you (i will be reading your other stories when i have time)
- To judge this contest, you need to have at least as many finalists as you have rewards. You have 4 awards but only 3 finalists.

Question. Two to be exact
1) Can I make this a sci-fi style futuristic thriller?
2) I'm going to submit the first chapter/section. I think I a story idea of this epicness will be longer than a simple small novel. Is that alright? -
-
Yes almost anything goes.
A fraction from a bigger story will be awarded the same as a short story.
-
-
i would enter but the setting isnt right for me
-
-
you can change the setting to suit your style. the idea is to inject yourself into the basic idea i've laid out.
-
-
I'm going to enter, but unfortunately I can't today. Going to bed soon, then I have school. Could you keep it open for another day of so?
-
I am going to be pushing back the dates untill there are atleast 3 enterys.

I like the idea. If I finish with a suitable piece, I will enter your contest, but I can't really promise anything.
-
I'm entering!! I've currently started writing, it is rather long so i hope that doesn't matter. cheers. Bailey.
