ABC Challenge

This was a challenge given to me in a creative writing course in college, so I can't take credit for its originality.

Anyway, here is the ABC challenge:

1. First sentence starts with A, the next with B, the next with C, then each successive sentence begins with the remaining letters in alphabetical order.

2. There should be no more than 26 sentences.

3. There needs to be one 100-word sentence.

4. There needs to be one fragment, or incomplete sentence (only 1, please).

Rules:

1. No prewrites allowed, unless someone can show me he/she has a story that already meets all of the criteria.

2. Stories, not poems, please.

3. Any genre is welcome.

4. I don't like to read a lot of curse words because they are crutches for those with a limited vocabulary, and they become clichés with overuse. Please, NO God-bashing.

5. Be creative.

Here is an example:

The points for trophies will go up as I gain more points.

"There needs to be one 100-word sentence." One hundred words? That's one big sentence.

I thought so, too, but I did it in my example. I used a list of sensory information in mine. It worked. It was a part of what the professor asked for in the assignment.
