Horror!

So as you've probably gathered horror is my genre and i'm giving away my hard earnt points to those people who can make things go bump in the night! Basically there are no rules, i will leave matters of good conduct to your consience.

Basically if it is plot orientated and not just offensive it's welcome. Bad language and erotica the same.

I love all different genres so don't worry if it is not original. The contest is limited to twenty entries so for multi chaptered entries please paste them together.

All stories will be commented on and critiqued too for those who would like just that.

I hope you horror fans will support this as it's basically a free licence to explore your darker side.

Good luck!

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on October 10, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 150, Silver: 50, Bronze: 30
  • Final notes:
Good stuff everyone, i certainly didn't predict the quality that would be on show here. The stories were, on the whole very well written, making it very difficult to judge. However i have judged the contest on two levels, Firstly for horror! Yeah thats what i wanted first and foremost and secondly on quality of writing. Some of the stories were excellently written but didn't quite produce the horror factor i was looking for, and vice versa, some were pretty scary but not as well written, i hope the comments i have left for you all have indicated this in someway. Thanks loads for entering, as soon as i have more points i will submit a similar contest as i believe that people are at their best if they are not prompted in anyway and free to let their imagination run wild. I'll let you all go now as i'm sure you all want to run off and read one of my storys! Thanks again.
