hmmm....my second contest. this should be interesting. i allowed prewrites last time and then was swamped! but this time NO PREWRITES ALLOWED!!!
here i was, sat at my computer, 'boppin' away to my tunes, when it occured to me- i could feel the lightbulb above my head- i should do a contest! with SONG PROMPTS!!! (happy dance with me people, come on!)
okay, so here's how this is going to work. reserve a story spot, pick 2 numbers from 1-10 and i'll tell you what song those are on my contest playlist. pick ONE of the songs and write a story around/from/inspired by it.
Now this is about thinking outside your box. so don't be afraid to try something new or unexpected.
RULES:
Yes, those pesky things that keep society standing (barely)
1) NO SEND-BACKS. the story must be based on one of the two songs i sent you
2) Put the song you chose in you authors notes
3) No STiCky CaPS
4) If you haven't submitted your final story before the contest ends i will DQ you. You have until the th October- that's it.
5) No more than 2,000 words, 300 minimum
6) No Poetry but you CAN SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE ENTRY!!
Finally...remember ONE to TEN i don't want you asking for 19 and 34, i will DQ you.
