Well, this is going to be my first contest. Yay! *crowd claps politely, one person throws a book at her* oww… O_x Anyway, I have five prompts for you!
Choose wisely!
Maybe I'll add more points! Plus i'm extending the due date! Yay! =D Um, i'm not allowing prewrites, because i'm trying to 'encourage' writing... =D
♠ Write me something dark and foreboding. Make the hairs stand up on my neck, send shivers down my spine, or just show me the truly terrifying creatures of the night. I don’t usually read these types, and am looking forwards to them! Brownie points if you have me hooked!
♠ Create me a passionate scene; a romantic interlude between two lovers. Anything allowed here, I’ll keep it open, but you’ll have a better chance (if your describing something sensual) if you write it poetically and flowing, HINTING at what is happening, rather than coming out and saying it straight that they DID do it.
[ ♥ ’s if the lovers were never meant to be ]
♠ Jessie has just been pulled over by the police. Knowing he has been drink-driving and knowing that small stash of [insert a drug name here] is still hidden in the magnetic key box stuck under his seat, he sets off to try and fool the cops into letting him go. ‘Besides, he thinks, Theres no harm in trying.
Your job is to write his story, either finding him a logical, realistic (or not) way out of his situation, or tells what happens after he gets caught.

Option Five) Message me, and I’ll give you lyrics to use as a prompt. This will be a challenge, as I may not use everyday lyrics, and a little outside research may be necessary. But feel welcome to choose this.

1) Swearing is allowed, but keep it to a minimum. I don’t like it much, and will not give you good marks if it’s every second word, unless your character is like that.
2) Please check spelling and grammar! Thankyou!
3) Minimum words 500 and maximum 5000. No prewrites.
4) If you want, you can tell me in your authors notes which option you chose!
5) Have fun =D
6) To show that you’ve read these, put ‘It’s nothing I can’t handle’ in your authors notes. PLEASE!

Oh, good. I thought this contest was over, and I haven't been able to get on SW for a couple of days. Now I can actually finish my story, yay me!!!

So that option about the dude getting pulled over and such. That happened to me, and it was a bag of pot in the glove compartment. Its not that hard to get away with, because they don't think you've got anything, they're just mad at you for speeding.
