a story in a page

alright. this is my first contest so dont get mad at me if something goes wrong. okay, heres what i want.

write me a short story. i want suspense, action, adventure, even a little romance. but it has to be less than 1500 words. if it is ABSOLUTELY nessacary and you have EXACTLY what i want but its a few words over, i will allow up to a 100 words over but no more than that. i dont want an abrupt ending either. that just sucks. give something really juicy. i want detail dripping from every word in your story. give me your best work.

heres a few things to help you with your story:
1. i love love love love the supernatural. anything that doesnt agree with the laws of oour world will draw me in a lot more than a realistic fiction will. keep that in mind.
2. i also love love love a death. make the hero die if you want, i dont care. nothing really grusome. but make it a good ending even if that character dies.
3. if you make the dragons the good guys, i will love you! ;]

okay...i know, i hate them too but here are the rules:

1. No erotica. im fourteen so i cant read it.
2. noNe Of thIS. i HaTe iT!!!
3. GRAMMER AND SPELL CHECK. USE IT.
4. No sex. no gay or lesbian stuff. i dont want to read a really grusome death. a little blood is okay just not a massacre. i dont want cutting or any of that emo stuff.
5. The story MUST BE COMPLETED. i dont want a series of little short stories.
6. BE ORIGINAL. i love it.
7. Don't bash God. He is my Savior and Lord and I love Him soooooooo much. If you do this, you will be DQ'd no matter how good the rest of your story is.
8. No swearing.

i think thats about it. if i add more, i will tell you.
I WILL DQ YOU IF YOU BREAK ANY OF THESE RULES. thanks! have fun! be creative! go write!!!

UPDATE: if you are already entered, ignore this.
1. im narrowing it down to only 1000 words per story. i cant read that fast. hehe...
2. i want more suspense and supernateral. what i mean by supernatural is not scifi. i mean ghosts and things that shouldnt be. like invisible people, wizards, dragons. go with a harry potter theme. but make it better (if thats possible =D) show me that it is. GO WRITE

What constitutes an abrupt ending? My story (Found in Space) ends quickly, but I dunno if that's allowed? I can change it if it's abrupt in the wrong way.
