Brace yourselves, folks; it's another wacky contest from the left-handed mind of Valkyrie!
This one is an homage to the long trips my family used to take when I was young; my bro (Shimobe) and I used to write up our own madlibs to pass the time.
I'm carrying around more points than I know what to do with, so I've thrown a bunch at this contest, in hopes of drawing some of you less-wacky types over for a gander. Come on in, stay for the hysterical laughter!
YE OLDE RULES
1. No swearing, erotica or body parts that are normally hidden under swimwear.
2. You may enter more than once; only one entry per genre please.
3. Creativity is rewarded! The more creative, the funnier, and the funniest entry to me will win.
4. Short explanations of word types are provided; if something isn't clear, please message me for clarification.
5. Have fun. This is a requirement.
6. There is no rule six.
7. Please put your username in the author notes so I know who to send the finished madlib to! Thank you.
Here's the deal:
You can either
A: write your own madlib and ask for 30 words from me, and then submit it, or
B: send me 30 words as per one of the four genre options below. Each madlib I've made is a very short story, and you most certainly can not see it beforehand. Donneven ask.
You can enter up to four times, once for each genre, if you're so inclined. Just submit an entry with the thirty words you want to put in the madlib, and I'll send you the completed madlib with your words in place. Update your entry, and prepare to laugh your head off!
Please note, the genre you choose will be heavily massacred by the time it's done, a mere spoof of the gloriousness it once was. This is the point of madlibbing.
A note on word choices:
You can go more than one way here. You can either attempt to choose words within the genre, hoping they make more sense than others, or you can flee in the other direction and go crazy with totally bizarre words. Either is fine, but I love to see the crazy ones more, so I'll probably like those better when I judge.
Also, the more specific your words are, the less chance they'll fit at all. Ex: the ___adjective____ man could be either
the "tall" man, (borrring) or
the "rust-resistant" man.
One final note: if anyone manages to pick any of the names I have in my originals, beaucoup brownies points to you!

you're basically amazing, and though I couldn't enter this contest (the other applicants wouldn't stand a chance
), I'll definitely keep an eye on it. Ooh, and if you get too many entries, then I can help you judge! But only if you want me too.
