It's been a few weeks since I did a contest and I decided it was time for another!
Ok this contest is called 'A week in you shoes' because what I want you to do is write me what a week in your life is like, kind of like a diary. So, get yourself a place and over the next 10 days I want you to make a minimum of 5 'diary entries'. I want to see what other people's lives are like, what you do, what makes you tick, what you think and what you feel. Maybe I'm a bit nosey!
Please don't just write something like: Went to school. Saw my friends. Came home. Ate dinner. Went to bed. Because not only is that boring it also shows me absolutely nothing about you as a person!
Feel free to change anyone's name and you don't have to talk about any deep dark secrets - not unless you want to that is! Hehe
So that's it! Tell me about 5-7 days in your life. Simple as that. You should be aiming for around 200 words per entry so around the 1000 word in total mark. No problem if you go under or over though.
No rules other than to try to come and write a bit every couple of days - don't write a whole week in one go. It's much better to write as it happens

- Final notes: Thanks to all who entered my contest! It would have been nice to see more entries but perhaps with school starting back and what-not it wasn't the best of timing! Anyways, I judged this on the insight I got of your lives from entries written, emotions and honesty. I asked in the contest info to try and make at least 5 entries and the gold winner did just that and really made me feel like I had a great insight into their life. The silver winner won me over with their honesty and emotions. The bronze took time with their entries and I felt like I had a good understanding of them as a person. The 2 honourable winners both did a great job as well! Thanks to those who entered and keep up the good writing - even better keep your diaries going! You will be amazed how good they are to look back on in the years to come!

Can we do this more then seven days? You say 5-7 but can we enter an entry every day until contest end? I don't have much better to be doing so I figured I'd ask.

Sure! You can do it for as many days as you like and write as many words as you like! Go for it

is it okay if the diary entry discusses several days, instead of just one? I'm sporadic like that.

You see I'm going abroad in three days so it would be so much fun to write about that. But right now my life is boring.
I don't want to write about just three days either... and I'll be jet lagged. So I guess I'm out on this one. Great idea though! -

I really wanted to join this contest and I actually started writing for it, but I found myself going off on tangents explaining every detail of my life. At this rate, I'll end up writing a whole novel. But I thought I'd tell you that I think this was a great idea =) Maybe I'll try again if you tell me that it's okay to go WELL over 1,000 words... -
