Many people especially teenagers run away from home. As a runaway myself, I understand why they ran away from home or from wherever they lived. I understand where they're coming from.
This is my first contest. And so for this contest, I want stories about a teenager between the ages of 13-17 who run away from home. I want you to describe why they ran away and what will happen to them once they ran away. Did someone in their family cause them to run away? How long will they be a runaway for? What are the challenges and struggles that they will have to encounter?
I'll let you decide the reason why. After all, it is your story. Don't be afraid to be as creative as possible. I want you to be very creative with this. Write your best. I won't be judging on how you spell or format it but please don't use sticky caps.
Any genre is allowed. You can write this any way you please. It can be written in first or third person or even written down in the main character's diary or whatever. It doesn't have to be fictional. If you wanted to, you can write about a person experience if you ever ran away from home.
