Note: I'll be going on holiday from Monday 30th of June until Saturday 6th of July. It's short notice, I know, but when I made this contest things had come up and I thought that I wasn't going to be able to go. But I am, and rest-assured that I will comment EVERY entry I get during this next week as soon as I come back, and everyone will be commented by the time the contest closes =)

Okay, this is an options contest with my own little editing.
I'm a film/book/television NUT. So, this is going to be 'loosely' styled on them.
OPTIONS!
Option 1: I want your best fanfictions! 'nuff said.
Option 2: If you don't like fanfiction, or have nothing that you feel passionate enough to write a fanfiction about, then nab a character from something and throw them into a world they're not used to. Harry Potter helping Nancy Drew, Superman beating up demons with Sam and Dean.. anything!
*_*_*_* If you choose either of these options, brownie points go out for fanfictions about/characters from the following:
- Comic books - particularly Marvel but I also love The Justice League.
- Supernatural
- If you can make it funny, twists on Harry Potter would be good.
- And, for those of you who understood the contest title, The Princess Bride is much loved ^_^
If you get an idea and think it deserves that little bit extra attention, run it past me and, if I like your style, brownie points could be yours =) _*_*_*
For those of you who really don't like that stuff, I have some ideas just for you.
Option 3: Dialogue ONLY (I really cannot stress ONLY. No "she said" or stage directions, JUST what the characters are saying to one another)
Option 4: A mixed-up fantasy story. The witches getting the prince, the hero being some drunk who saved the day by accident etc. etc.
Option 5: I know it defies the point of options, but I know how it feels when you've written something you adore and are just waiting for the perfect contest to show it off in - so this option's for your own stuff, anything at all =)
RULES (gah):
- I've yet to see someone try this on in a contest, but NoNe oF ThIs or THIS, 'COS IT LOOKS ANGRY... GRR!
- Do your best to spell/grammar check, I can read stuff that's got mistakes coming out of its ears, but it looks un-proper =)
-Paragraphs always look nice, so use them!
- Put the option you've picked in the Author's Notes, and a brief bit as to why you chose that one. I always wonder =)
- I don't know how to comment on poetry as I neither write it nor read it. I'll try to comment on every entry, but if you enter a poem expect either "I liked it" or "not my thing".

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on July 6
- Rewards: Gold: 150, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 3 people
- Final notes: Jeez, this was a hard contest to judge. There wasn't a single entry I didn't like, every single writer should be immensely proud of their work as they're all very talented. The ones who got trophies did so because I could see myself sitting down and opening a book to see those words looking up at me.
Again, though, every entry was magic, but I'm very "stick to what you know" and so, when buying books, I keep to the genres I know and love.
Many thanks and kudos to you all, you filled my first contest with some fantastic reading.
