Many Options!

Hello all! This contest will be pretty simple and straightforward, there'll be quite a few options to choose from. Mainly, I'll be looking out for good writing that I will be impressed by.

Okay, I'll get the rules over with first!
1. No sticky caps!
2. Please watch the spelling, grammar and punctuation! I will let most slip by but if there are lots it'll be really annoying.
3. Prewrites are allowed of course, but I wouldn't really like to give a trophy to a story that has won numerous ones before, so... I have nothing against good stories, but I just want to give others a chance to win too. (:
4. Bear in mind that I'm only 13.
5. Please don't bash God, religion, or any other topics that may offend others!
6. I shall not impose a word limit, because I think some stories are better left shortened to allow the reader to think about it, while some stories need to be longer to develop characters and all. You guys and girls probably know best when it's too long or too short!
6. Finally, please put your favourite flower in your author's note so that I know you read the rules! Also, don't forget to state your option!

Options:
1. Song-Inspired
Your story can have the same title as the song, be inspired by the song, run parallel to the song, etc. You can take any song from these singers/bands but these songs are my favourites.
- Stop and Stare by OneRepublic
- Realise by Colbie Caillat
- Runaway Train by Soul Asylum
- Love Song by Sara Bareilles
- You And I Both by Jason Mraz
- Walk Away by Funeral For A Friend
- Over It by Katherine McPhee
- Longer by Dan Fogelberg
- Rise Above This by Seether
- The Call by Regina Spektor

2. Picture-Inspired
Your story should be inspired by the picture, or if you think you can do it, describe the scene, and make it come even more alive than before. Feel free to create the person, and write about how the picture affects her. Also possible to describe the feelings of the person who is viewing this etc. In fact, anything you like, as long as it relates to the picture!

3. You may also choose to write about something you feel very strongly about, or something that you've been thinking about that's worth putting down on paper! But remember, no bashing, constructive criticism, people!

4. Write a piece that relates to a book. Like an event in the book from the point of view of someone else, or a new event, anything like that! I'm sorry I can't just let y'all pick any random book, but if I haven't read it before, than that would be really bad.
- Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer
- The Giver by Lois Lowry
- Fire And Hemlock by Dianna Wynne Jones
- Red Sky In The Morning by Elizabeth Laird
- The Silver Sword by Ian Serraillier

5. Write something that relates to relationships. For example, romance that makes me go aww, family ties, or friendships that are really close and everything.

6. Write about something really ironic.

7. Make your title an oxymoron, but of course your story must be relating to your title!

For now, I will just leave it at that, but if you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to let me know! Be original!

Have fun!

Should it make you go "aww, that's cute!" Or "aww, that's so sad!"? =o

Any is fine, as long as it can arouse strong emotions (:
