1. I had already noticed he was young, but he had an air about him that suggested that life had treated him hard.
2. You see, how he came to be here is a rather sad story.
3. "And to what do I owe this intrusion?" I snapped at him.
4. "Keep that pretty face down, or he's bound to notice you and lock you back up."
5. My brother spit savagely into the bathroom sink.
6. I'm what some people call a "late bloomer."
7. When he finally reached the register, he set the can of Red Bull down on the counter and fished his wallet out of his pocket.
8. She was the one who finally broke the moment.
9. I never back down from a challenge.
10. I wove in and out of the people on the sidewalk, doing my best to lose my pursuers.
