DARKWRITE: Dumpsville

Hello there, guys and gals! It's time for another exciting issue of Darkwrite to hit the web, and we need your help. If you missed the last issue, you can find it here: allpoetry.com/Contest/2120420

This contest is for those of you who have ever been dumped, and those of you that have had to dump someone. The reasons for the dumping don't matter; if it happened, tell me about it and maybe end up published in the next issue of AllPoetry's net magazine for the darker side of life, Darkwrite.

Keep in mind that, if your piece is selected, it will be available to the general public. Therefore, please try to keep cursing and erotica to a minimum. Use your spell check and reread your work before submitting. I won't put limitations on length, just make it long enough to get the point across and short enough to keep interest alive.

That's about it, so start writing! We look forward to reading your works.

UPDATE: I'm currently without power, so it may take a few days to respond to any questions or things like that. They are saying 2-7 days for the power to come back, and it's already been three, so yes, lol. Happy writing!

UPDATE2: Maybe I should have been more clear. I want stories. I thought that by putting this contest on Storywrite, that would be a given, but I guess not. My mistake. These stories need to either show the break up itself, or the feelings afterward, or both. I don't want stories just about the relationship, I don't want poems, I don't want blank screens. Stories. If your entry does not fit this criteria, please submit something that does. The writing is good, just not what I need.

Well, this was certainly a whole new way to hold a contest! I must say I liked the way all of the entries were totally anonymous. I look forward to finding out who each of the wonderful writers are who were chosen for a trophy. The winners will be contacted by me in a few days, to inform them about Darkwrite's policies and all that fun stuff. Thank you to everyone who entered, congratulations to the winners, and I hope to read more from each of you in the future.
