May Whichcraft Contest

This is my birthday month so please take the opportunity to share in another year lived by checking out my contest. Enter a new or prewritten story, using one of the options below:

Option 1: Back Cover Contest
If I was to walk into a bookstore and see the amazing book cover of your future novel, I would turn it over. Would I still be attracted to your book, once I read the description? Entice me! Word count – no more than 500 words. For this option, it does not have to be on a story that you have already written.

Option 2: Send Me Your Short Shorts!
Submit a flash/fast fiction limited to no more than 1000 words.

If your entry exceeds the word count mentioned above, I will not disqualify you but I will not read your entry. Thank you.

Rules:

If entering a prewritten story, please ensure that it isn’t a story that I have already granted a trophy in one of my other contests. You can enter a story I previously commented on but it should not have already been a winner from one of the contests that I have judged.

Word count is noted in the individual options above.

Please do not submit stories that are categorized as horror, incest, rape, male gay, … you get where I’m coming from. If you are not sure, please send me a message.

Please use proper grammar, paragraphs and story format.

No poetry or scripts, please. Stories only.
