Get inspired

So, in this contest, I will give you lines I like from songs. They are from many varied songs and bands, and there will be quite a bit of them. Feel free to use as many as you want, but please put which ones you used as inspiration in your author notes. You can write anything at all, but please watch out for grammar and spelling, as well as other things that make stories good.

Some quick rules;
~No word limits, but try not to make it much longer than 2000 words or so, else I'll die of short attention span-ness.
~Please name which line(s) you used
~Don't worry about swearing or anything of the sort, just don't use too much.
~I adore stories that are deep and meaningful, as well as ones that make me laugh =)
~I reserve the right to DQ any story for any reason, but don't worry, you will be sent a message first with the option to fix it.

BONUS POINTS: If you can name the song or band, or both, from which the line(s) you used are from. I'll applaude your story 3 times!
