The usual fantasy concepts (werewolves, vampires, swords and the usual type of magic) are all well and good, but I want to read something that BLOWS MY MIND.... makes me think.... is incredibly weird, and is something my strange mind has never thought of.
Up to the challenge????
I'll give you points if you are
Please don't give me a chapter that's halfway through a novel though, unless it's like a mini story in itself and I'll still understand what's going on. Short stories... the limit would probably be about 5000 words, but unless your story is AMAZING I'll prefer anything beneath 2 or 3 thousand words. What can I say? I have a short attention span
Blow my mind, please
If possible, try not to explain everything at once. Put the information across with subtlety... during conversation... using implication... you know what I mean ^^
Hmm, rules...
- Good grammar/spelling is obviously going to give you preference.
- Be weird. Even a dream recount is good as long as it has some sort of depth/meaning/storyline to it.
- No hardcore erotica please
- It must be original.
- Being believeable is a plus too (a funny rule in a fantasy comp, but I don't want to read a whole lot of unrealistic conversation or whatevs.)
I'll read and comment on all your entries
So please enter! You know you want to...

- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 5 people
- Final notes: Ok, so I finally finished reading all the entries... Congrats to the winners! Awww man, it has to be fantasy? I got heaps of original minds blowers, but they're not fantasy
-
-
Well sure, I guess it doesn't have to be fantasy. If you've got something to blow my mind, I'm all for it ^^
-
-
Schweet, will see how well what I've posted blows your mind

-
-
Hmm...and I had a good sci-fi story to add...I'll see if I can figure something out.

Awesome! I look forward to reading ^^

No scifi??

Sci-fi is always good
But I suggest you post soon, cos this contest is filling up surprisingly fast O.o

-
*sigh*
I finally get online and the contest is closed.

Wah?? So soon?? Aww... Maybe I can extend the contest to fifteen stories then? But I'll be away this weekend so it'll take me a little while to read them all. And that's if I can change the contest after it's over... I'll see what I can do.
