This is the contest, and I really hope you enter. I am going to list six things. Your story must have at least two of them.
I prefer dark writes with a twist, but I really am interested in seeing anything you've got. Some of the options are very dark, but you don't HAVE to write horror or crime. What I am really looking for is good writing.
Feel free to submit work of any length. If long though, it has to hold my interest. Short (under 500 words) is also welcome. Basically, anything you want.
Oh, and enter as many times as you like.
Here are the 6 things or people:
Snow
A demon, the devil, or hell
A race car driver
A death by strangulation
A bonfire
A gold crucifix necklace

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on June 28, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 700, Silver: 350, Bronze: 150, Honorable mention: 2 people
- Final notes: Well, I actually did manage to get it done today!
Thank you all for entering. You all made a good effort. This was a really hard contest to judge.
I was most impressed with the top four stories. They were VERY hard to order. I really hated having to give one honorable mention, if I could have given out just golds and silvers, I would have.
Most of all, I am happy that you all were able to create new original stories that you will hopefully go on to enter in other contests and win trophies for (and some of you have already done that)
Thanks for making this such a great contest!

I may be back also

Got some ideas... we'll see what happens.

What if you have a story that already has two or more of those things?
Are you going to make me write another one?
-
Do you really have a story with two of those things in it? I'll open it to prewrites for you, Cactus Jack.
For the rest of you, I really hope you enter. I will keep the deadline extended until I get enough writes to make it interesting, and probably increase points considerably.

uhhh yeah...
well its only a chapter not a complete story. Not yet anyways. I can try to write something new but to be honest, I'm not that good

I'll see what I can come up with

Damnit. I have a prewrite about demons ... pity you don't allow em.

I really want people to write something new for this. The idea is to prompt writer's to create a whole new work that they would not have written otherwise.
If you can't come up with a new idea, maybe you could rewrite the story you mentioned- it has to contain not only demons, but at least one other of the sixth things as well.
