Just You [[Melancholy Melodies]]

[[[[Read it all, or don't bother entering.]]]]

I'm Taylor Renee. I'm very young...but people, had I not told them, probably wouldn't have noticed that here.

I consider myself an alright person. I like some things about me. I think I have a few hidden talents. I've been having a sort of rough time in life lately, but I'm getting through it. I'm not gonna go into huge details about me.

So anyway. That's me...who are you?

That's what this contest is about. Yeah, I got a contest here I have to judge. Yeah, I have another going. So what?

Here's this one:

I want to read something you wrote that makes me feel like I know you. Like I'm your closest friend.

It can be anything:

♥ A poem.
♥ A story.
♥ A random thing that talks about YOU. That says 'Hi I'm Melody and this is me:...'

I don't care! Just...it has to explain you in some way.

Prewrite?

I don't care. Why not?

One entry per person, 'less someone wants to enter a story and a short bio or something.

Any questions? I'm here. I don't bite [as unbelievable as it sounds ].

So...

Rules

1.) Nothing like a novels size. I'll trust your judgement.

2.) NO ADULT CATEGORIES!!!!!!!!!! ...Thank you

3.) It can be sad. Depressing. Totally sing song happy. I don't care. But it has to be YOU.

4.) Gender in author's notes. And fave flower.

5.) Uhm...why does it explain you? If it's not completely obvious, put it in the AN.

6.) THESE COUNT FOR PREWRITES AND NEW WRITES! I MAY DQ ENTRIES THIS TIME!

Thank you. Questions, message me. I'd be happy to make a new friend.

Points may go up if I get entries.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on May 5
  • Rewards: Gold: 100, Silver: 75, Bronze: 50
  • Final notes:
    Done.

    Finally.

    You were all absolutely fantastic.

If I didn't comment, you didn't follow the rules. I read your entry, though. No worries. I just did not comment.

    You all did extraordinary.

I really think so. Just some stood out. The winners.

First, second, and third. You were my absolute favorites. The best of the best.

    Congradulations.

HMs, you all stood from the rest. You were just what I wanted.

    No particular order.

EXCEPT ECSTACY. That's fourth place. Almost third. It was a close tie.

    So that's it.

Thank you guys so much. For another amazing contest.

    xoxo

    Tay

Just new here so still finding my way around. I guess I'll do my authors notes here as I dont know where else to do it. I am female from Scotland and this piece of writing SICK is about what my life has been like from the age of 20 and sick with pneumonia and now I beginning to get healthy again.
My favourite flower is a daisy.
    Excellant topic!

Somehow I ended up here. Too tired to explain how.

Anyways, I just noticed, what was wrong with your right eye in the pic? It's swollen.
