Okay, this is my first contest, and I'm a little shabby, but I'm taking a stab at it anyways. If you look on my page, you will notice I'm a HUGE fan of romance and forbidden love. So, why not host a contest featuring love stories??
Ok, so I want love, obviously, but not the same old boring teenage, heartbroken love. I want real love, passion, depth. Prewrites are allowed, but they have to be really emotional and descriptive!
Ok, so here are some of my rules!
1. Erotica IS allowed, but don't go over the top, I'm only 16 and I don't like to go really into it, if you know what I mean. ( in otherwords, I don't want the entire story to be like a sex show, I want some passion too)
2. Poetry is perfectly okay, but it has to be really good!!
3. No bashing of anything or anyone.
4. Minimum word count: 200 Maximum: 3000. You could go a little under or a little over, depending on how good your work is, but definitely nothing over 3500 words.
5. One of my pet peeves is grammar, so make sure yours is excellent before you enter anything. ( this includes spelling and typos)
6. No sticky caps
7. Only one entry per person please.
8.. have fun!
PLEASE NOTE:
1. I really like dark and mysterious love, so you are more likely to win if you choose that option.
2. I HATE CUSSING, so please don't have too much!
3. If you enter a poem, I will accept it, but it has to be extremely well-written!
Okay, I think that's it, just remember to have fun and follow the rules and you should be fine!
Thanks,
*KAT*

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on March 31, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 100, Silver: 30, Bronze: 20, Honorable mention: 3 people
- Final notes: Well, for my first contest, I have to admit this was a pretty good one. It was very tough to judge, considering how many wonderful entries I read. I loved all of your entries, but could only choose 6 finalists out of 20 entries. *sigh* Not an easy task, especially considering how well-written most of these romantic stories were. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this contest, I know I did! Thanks again!
