Tired of Judges who don't Give Feedback?

I sure as heck know I am! We have all been entered in one of those contests where the judge will say "Oh I will comment on every entry" About the last two or three contests I entered said that, and all two or three judges didn't comment on my entry at all.

I am going to change this. I will read your story, and if I like it, I'll say so and you will probably be a finalist. If I hate it, I'll tell you and you won't. Simple as that, honest judging.

Now for the options!

Ask me for a prompt! Super brownie points for this!

Write about the hardest thing you have ever had to do.

Write about the best thing that has happened to you.

Use the phrase "My hosiery is bunching!" or "Rock Chalk Jayhawk go KU! somewhere in your story.

You can combine these any way you want. Make it real though. Not too farfetched unless my prompt calls for fantasy.

Now for the rules

I freaking hate sticky caps. They should be dragged out to die a horrible death.

No fricken netspeak or lyke dis type of stuff. It is SO ANNOYING!

No gay bashing or religion bashing. Sure I am a christian, but that doesnt mean I bash. Neither should you.

No overtly disgusting erotica or one night stands please people? Be tasteful!

Put "KU is going to win the NCAA tourney whether you like it or not" in your author notes so that I know you read the rules.

And for extra brownie points, comment on one of my stories. I don't care if you rip it apart. In fact, DO rip it apart. I want to get better. Good luck!

I hate those kinds of judges!

I hate the whimsical feel good crap some judges deal out or if they don't comment at all. When I held my contest I had five paragraphs minimum of comment on each entry and it was all what an editor would say.
Good job with stepping up to the plate with this! I can't enter but I admire you for this.
