I want you to write a conversation between your characters discussing what they think of you. Is it annoying they way you keep messing with their lives? Do they like the personality you've given them?
Please write this in story form, mind - they have to be doing something or being somewhere while they talk.... so, no script writing, please unless your story actually is a script.
If you don't quite understand what I mean, I've done this myself, so here's an example: http://storywrite.com/story/148274
But I'd be aware that reading someone else's version can ruin your own ideas due to fear of copying, so view my example if you dare!
Anyways, I've got the usual rules:
- Please try to avoid bad grammar/spelling
- Any longer than 2000 words is TOO MUCH for one conversation. *nods seriously*
- Proper english (slang is allowed, but no net speak or tHiS dUmB sTuFf.)
- Have fun
What's good:
- Humour, but you don't necessarily have to have it. Your characters might be planning to kill you (though it would be hard to make that serious
)
- Don't just make it an overview of your writing style... I want an actual conversation that flows.
If you don't have any ongoing novel-size stories, it'll be more of a challenge, but you could always make up a couple of characters.
If you feel it's necessary for me to understand what your people are talking about, you could write a short ('short' being the operative word) summarisation of your story before you start the conversation.
This is SO MUCH FUN to do, and you learn so much about your own writing style; how and why you write certain things.
Please enter!!!! It's awesome!!

Funny story: I had writer's block on a story of mine, and when I sat down to write something for this contest, I suddenly had a flood of ideas and got past my block! I'm so happy! I'll probably still write something for this though, but it'll be a little longer.

I look forward to reading it

Great contest idea. I just hope that my entry's approach isn't too odd. I always go for that sort of thing. It really opened up new doors for me. Thank you.

Oh I totally will be back for this.
I can incorporate more stories than just one, correct? and do they have to be on storywrite yet? because I have a stack of notebooks of character ideas and story lines. I would love to put my Band of Seven characters in with my La Chasseresse de la Nuit characters....those are my two main novel-sized attempts at the moment.
So two questions, i guess:
just characters from one story, or can it be from two?
and
Does it already have to be published on Storywrite?
thanks.

Oh, they don't even have to exist yet

So yes, your characters can be from multiple stories,
And no, it doesn't have to already be published on storywrite.
No rules, baybee!
