Give Me Your Greatest Horror

I'm tired of seeing the lack of interesting horror. This contest is for those who are horror/dark genre writers and want to try something new.

Anything goes, but here are a few notes as to how I will be judging the contest:

1. First 20 stories are judged.
2. Originality is important.
3. No Fanfiction.
4. New stories only.
5. Anything goes (and I mean ANYTHING.)

Some useful tips on how to stay on my good side as a judge:

1. READ OVER YOUR SUBMISSION. If I catch a ton of misspelled words or grammar mistakes, that's an easy way to automatically lose the contest.

2. Don't overuse erotic elements or gore. Overusing them usually never works anyway.

3. Be original. If you want to enter a vampire story, I want to see something other than all romancy vampires or some kind of different theme.

4. Treat your story like you're submitting for publication.

Prizes:

Due to time constrictions on my part, the prizes have changed. I'll only be able to offer trophies. Sorry.

Have fun. If you're stuck and want a prompt, message me and I'll figure something out for you.
