Poetry!!!! Poetry!!! Poetry!!!!

Okay, I'm inspired by the book: "The Wood Wife" by Terri Windling. I want to read some poetry and not just any poetry.
I don't want to be told the meaning, no, show me...guide me through your words, stun me. Make me cry, laugh, smile, frown. Stir in me a reaction and you can consider yourself a winner.
It can be about anything, but try to be original. My other contest isn't going so well, so I just begin this one.

Rules...
1. No prewrites...I know, I just don't want to read poems I've already read-it decreases the impact a little.
2. Only submit once, please.

Oh, and try seeing things differently!! I did that today when I looked at the clock. Don't just consider an emotion deep, feel the walls of the chasm-do they hurt? Can you crawl out? Just think about it...See things as a poet. Okay...go ahead and write!
